Chris Morrison is a co-founder of The Emmaus Biblical Training Center. He earned a BA and MA from Luther Rice Seminary in 2009 and 2011 and then an Master of Divinity degree from Liberty University in 2013. He then completed a one year residency at Spiritual Health for Emory Healthcare (formerly known as the Emory Center for Pastoral Services). He is now a Board Certified Chaplain at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Sitting with struggling patients and families for over thousands of hours made Chris keenly aware of the need for practical application of biblical truth to daily life. He desires to see ministry work on a personal level, which inspired the Emmaus Biblical Training Center. Whereas traditional theological education is expensive, time consuming, and often highly academic, he wanted to help make deeper Christian truths more readily available and accessible to those who lacked the time and resources to attend Bible college or seminary.
Chris is married to Gretchen and has two beautiful daughters, Eliana and Charlotte.
